Due to its high retention of very fine particles and high loading capacity, the borosilicate glass microfibre is very resistant to aggressive environments and temperatures up to 500 °C. Commonly used for suspended solids in all types of water and effluent and filtration of particulates in water, algae and bacterial cultures, food and drink analyses.
