These vials are made of hydrolytic class I borosilicate glass, ensuring high chemical resistance and thermal stability—essential for precise GC Headspace analyses.

The N18 magnetic closure has a thinner septum (1.5 mm vs 3 mm), allowing easier needle penetration and less septum coring, which is particularly important for SPME (Solid Phase Micro Extraction). Its flat magnet surface prevents full vials from detaching during extraction—a common issue with crimped vials due to convex cap tops.
