PLASTIC FLASKS

Flasks are an indispensable part of the routine volumetric equipment employed in an analytical laboratory. They are used to measure, dilute, mix and store accurate volumes of liquids. They are lighter than glass flasks and made from durable, chemically resistant plastic materials. Volumetric flasks have a bulb-shaped body with a flat base, a long narrow neck and an accurate fill line. They are calibrated products: Class A flasks have volume tolerances within DIN and ISO limits, while the error limit of Class B flasks is twice that of the Class A ones. Erlenmeyer flasks have a conical body with a flat base, a short neck, and graduation marks. They can be fitted with a stopper and are available in different volumes and colours.
