Therm heat transfer fluids are used for dynamic heating applications and for optimal heat transfer. Suitable for high temperatures up to > 300 °C.
Not all heat transfer fluids are suitable for every system. Therefore, before deciding which product to choose, it is essential to consider factors such as thermal conductivity, temperature ranges, and viscosity. The bath volume and the volume of the external circuit are also relevant parameters to take into account. In open or semi-open systems, the heat transfer fluid is in direct contact with the ambient air (e.g. water bath, thermostat), whereas in closed systems with cooling oil, such contact does not occur.
