The LAUDA Universa U 16 E thermostatic recirculating heated bath is designed for the precise heating and maintenance of samples and liquids at constant temperatures in laboratory applications. It features a tank with a capacity of approximately 12.7 to 17.1 liters, an opening of 200 × 300 mm, and a usable depth of approximately 160 mm. It offers a working temperature range of 35 to 100 °C, extendable from approximately 20 to 100 °C via water cooling. It provides high thermal stability of ±0.05 K and has a heating power of up to 2.2 kW, as well as a circulation pump with a flow rate of up to 15 L/min and a maximum pressure of 0.2 bar, ensuring homogeneous temperature distribution throughout the bath. The unit incorporates a control system with a two-line, three-button VA-LC display, as well as Ethernet and USB interfaces and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy integration and management. It includes safety systems against overheating and low liquid level, with audible and visual alarm indicators. Its approximate dimensions are 280 × 550 × 450 mm, with a weight of about 13 kg, and it operates on a 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply.
