The Variocool process thermostats are designed to deal with sophisticated process temperature control in the moderate temperature range. High-performance and versatile. Equipment incorporating various pumps and individual expansion with interface modules, including the option of external temperature control, allow optimized adaptation to changing requirements in the process environment.
Features:
- All models are available in air- or water-cooled versions (W) and are equipped with steerable fixed castor
- Coloured TFT display for simultaneous indication of actual & set values and graphic illustration of the temperature profile
- Clear text menu navigation, six selectable languages DE, EN, FR, ES, IT, RU
- Adjustable bypass for pressure restriction (analogous to pressure display for operating control, adjustable via bypass)
- Filler opening on top, drain tap on the backside
- Integrated programmer with max. 150 segments, splitable in 5 programmes
- Electronic level indication and low level alarm
- SmartCool system for energy-saving digital cooling management including compressor on-off control
- Operates with non-flammable refrigerant (HFC), in compliance with the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulation (EU) 573/2024
- USB interface as standard
- Upgradeable with an interface module (analogue module, contact module, RS 232/485 module, Profibus, Ethernet-USB module)
- Power cord with angled plug (CEE7/7)
- Sound insulation or the option for outdoor installation is available for the powerful process thermostats in tower design from the VC 5000
