MUFFLES

Muffles or muffle furnaces can reach temperatures of up to 1800 °C to perform heat treatment processes such as incineration, calcination, drying, melting, material tests, etc. As they are built with materials such as refractory fibres and ceramics, the interior of the muffle achieves optimal insulation from the exterior and a homogeneous temperature. Tube furnaces also reach the maximum temperature more quickly and according to controlled segments within the tube.
