Shaker Incubator SKI
The microprocessor ensures constant and optimal temperature control inside the chamber. The pre-chamber heating (and cooling in the refrigerated model SKI 8R-N), together with forced air circulation, ensure optimal temperature distribution throughout the useful working area.
Safety systems for over-temperature protection and adjustable fluid expansion safety thermostat.
The gradually increasing stirring function up to the set speed ensures maximum safety of samples.
Features:
- Large backlit LCD screen, with simultaneous display of actual and set temperature, speed and stir time.
- The temperature variation at 37 °C ± 0.1 °C, homogeneity of the temperature in the space at 37 °C ± 0.5 °C.
- Agitation time adjustment from 1 to 9999 min. or continue. Maximum stirring width of 20 mm.
- Possibility to house perforated support for flask / flask holder clips
- Shaking and heating blocking system for dome opening with automatic restart after closing.
- Safety class 3.1 (DIN 12880).
- Maintenance free induction motor. Power supply 220V
Shaking incubators are supplied with a standard with the flexible spring platform capable of accommodating different types of flasks, beakers and test tubes with different capacities.
Orbital Shaking SKI 4-N, SKI 8-N and SKI 8R-N stirring and thermostatting/cooling functions in one equipment, used for mixing liquids and incubating biological cultures. The thermostatting and stirring functions are totally independent, so the SKI can also be used as a stirrer only or an incubator only.
