The Cole-Parmer® Stuart™ SI-200 and SI-200D-L orbital shaker incubator are ideal for cell culturing procedures, especially suspension culture applications.
The compact units feature a microprocessor controller and an LED control panel that allow independent control of speed and temperature, as well as a timer that can be set for any duration from 1 second to 9 days. Forced air circulation within the incubator ensures temperature uniformity, between +5ºC and +60ºC throughout the sample chamber. A retractable platform facilitates easier access to samples at the back of the incubators. This model has a versatile clamping system, for common flask sizes (up to 2 L). A wide range of stainless-steel accessory racks are also available for smaller sample tubes - 1.5 mL, 15 mL and 50 mL.
Accessory racks are held to the shaking platform by a Magnalock system, to ensure quick and easy coupling and de-coupling. The incubators feature smoked acrylic windows to allow easy visibility of the samples and the compact design ensures the units do not take up much space on the lab bench. The built-in USB connection with dedicated software allows long term temperature monitoring.
