In NANOCONTROL standards the respective reference substances are dissolved with a defined concentration. This concentration of the standard solution is selected to be in the middle of the measuring range of the suitable test kit with a narrow confidence interval. The standard solution is applied in the test instead of a normal water sample. The test kit is then handled as described in the instructions.
When the result of the test is within the confidence interval, the operator can be sure that all components of his analytical system are working correctly and that no handling error was made.
