Filter housings

The 13mm housing (Celcon Acrylic) is resistant to alcohols, esters, ethers, glycols, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, acetones, oils... Compatible with most weak acids and bases. Maximum work pressure is 40psi and is autoclavable for 15min. at 121ºC, 15psi. Optimum volume is 1-5ml. The 25 and 47mm housings are of PP and are usually used for filtration and/or sterilization under positive pressure.
They are also useful for gas or liquid filtration at its point of use.
Typically, the 25mm, is the one used for samples up to 50ml and the 47mm one can filter up to 1l of sample depending on it's viscosity. Temperature resistant up to 121ºC. Both can be autoclaved for 20min at 121 ºC, 15psi.
