INCUBATORS AND CLIMATE CHAMBERS

Incubators are designed to provide a controlled temperature and optionally CO2 environment to simulate real-world environments at temperatures of up to 80 °C. They are used to incubate and grow cells and living organisms, stability studies, amongst other applications. Refrigerated incubators with Peltier technology or a compressor are also available to control colder temperatures down to -12 °C. Climate chambers also control humidity, creating homogeneous and recordable conditions with a wide temperature range from -10 °C to 90 °C, ideal for climate testing, stability studies, animal testing, etc. They can incorporate light to create optimal conditions for plant cultivation. Among many optional features, adding an entry port for probes or additional shelves or grids are the most common.
