Scharlab obtains the 2023 REDUZCO Carbon Footprint seal

Within the framework of Scharlab’s integrated management policy, which seeks to reduce the environmental impact of our activities, we have once again obtained the REDUZCO Carbon Footprint seal.

Since 2019 SCHARLAB has calculated the carbon footprint of its activities with the aim of understanding and reducing its environmental impact.

To obtain the REDUZCO seal, it was necessary to demonstrate that the average CO₂ emission values for the years 2021-2022-2023 were lower than those of the 2020-2021-2022 average.

This achievement by the environmental team has been made possible through investments and improvements such as replacing several combustion vehicles in the fleet with hybrid or electric models and changing the type of fuel used in the factory boilers from propane to natural gas. It has also been the first full year of operation of the factory’s solar panels.

All these actions continue to demonstrate the long-standing vision of SCHARLAB in reducing its environmental impact and ensuring the long-term sustainability of its activity.
