What does it consist of?

B2B allows customers to access a single space to purchase our products without having to leave their own enterprise resourcing planning system (ERP). At the end of the process, the order is automatically registered in their ERP with updated information on prices, stock, delivery times, and so on.

How does it work?

When you use our B2B tool as a customer, you will no longer need to store all the supplier information for your purchases internally in complex archives. Plus, we update all the data on a regular basis so you will have full access to all the information provided by Scharlab:

  • Our entire product catalogue (fully adaptable to your needs).
  • Prices agreed with you.
  • Real-time stock and delivery information.
  • Technical data sheets.

And all updated on the spot, which entails significant savings in paperwork.

As soon as the order is completed, it is automatically recorded in your ERP, so you don’t have to spend time logging all the product data in your system. Our B2B platform does everything in your system, even tailoring the information to suit your needs. As the order is already recorded in your ERP it will follow all of your company’s internal protocols before finally reaching the hands of Scharlab.

What is needed to use B2B?

  • Customers must use an ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) with standard OCI or cXML.
  • Modify the ERP to allow access to Scharlab’s unique purchasing space (PunchOut catalogue).
  • Enable OCI or cXML protocol to operate between the two systems
  • And… you’re good to go!

What are the advantages?

For laboratories:

  • Laboratories can use their computer system to gain instant access to complete information, including availability.
  • Requests sent to the purchasing department are recorded directly, saving time and minimising errors.

For the purchasing department:

  • Requests are registered directly by users. The purchasing department only has to validate them: There is no need to rewrite orders, which saves time and eradicates errors and their costly consequences.
  • It is impossible to place an order with an erroneous price.
  • If the customer doesn’t have self-invoicing in place, automatic validation of delivery note prices is also a significant time saver, as well as reducing errors.
