Method: Chlorinated pesticides and PCBs . Method 508 is applicable to the determination of chlorinated pesticides in ground water and finished water by gas chromatography with an electron capture detector. Method 508.1 is applicable to the determination of chlorinated pesticides, herbicides, and organohalides in ground water and drinking water in any treatment stage using extraction and electron-capture detector gas chromatography.
Method 508A is applicable for screening of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) by gas chromatography in raw source water or drinking water in any treatment stage.
